Connecting students with beekeepers across the province.
Pollinators are an important member of the agricultural community. Partners at the New Brunswick Beekeepers association (NBBA) support AITC NB by making presentations to K-5 classrooms. Once the students have their presentations, they then are given beehive supers to paint and decorate. The beehive supers are then distributed to beekeepers in the province. The beekeepers and classrooms stay in touch and students are able to see photos and videos of the bees using their supers.
